Adjustments as required by the seasons are made from time to time.

CO-CURRICULAR & EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The school tries to incorporate as many skills as possible in children. Activities like Drawing and Painting, Essay Writing, Elocution, Debate, Quiz, Sports, Music and Drama are already a part of our curriculum. Computer education is a part of the regular curriculum and starts from Std.I. A wellstocked computer lab caters to the need of the children.
Professional level computer education also can be arranged in the school campus itself after the school hours on payment basis.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Students are trained to become leaders. Every child is given an opportunity to develop himself/ herself using his/her potential to the maximum. They get a chance to organize and present various projects and programmes. Children are taught good values using value education classes. (ie. the moral science classes)

IN SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS

Teachers are given enough chances to train themselves and attend different training programmes throughout the year. Continuous evaluation helps them to improve themselves.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

Children from Nursery onwards shall wear the prescribed school uniform. Parents are requested to provide their ward(s) with three sets of summer uniform and three sets of winter uniforms each. Care should be taken that the children are turned out neatly and smartly. All students must wear clean neat uniform and properly polished shoes as required by the seasons.

Students without proper school uniform will not be allowed to stay in the classroom. They will be sent home after two warnings. Remarks concerning this will be made in the School Hand Book.

For any reason, if a student doesn’t have any part of the required school uniform, the same should be intimated to the Principal in writing and permission taken, for the same.

The school office can be contacted for the details.

PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES

Regular and punctual payment of School fees is requested from the parents. This will avoid the unnecessary inconvenience of paying a fine. A student has to pay the Annual fees and tuition fees before the new Academic Session commences.

From May onwards parents shall pay the tuition fee within thirty days of every month. A fine of Rs. 20/- will be levied for every defaulted month. If the fee is defaulted for three months at a stretch, the name of the defaulter will be removed from the School Rolls. Thereafter, the student will not be allowed to continue in the School.

The fee has to be paid in the School office and Bank where the facility is provided.

Fee revision as per the decision of the management.

Regular and punctual payment of the school fees will enable the smooth functioning of the school.

WITHDRAWAL OF CHILDREN

It is suggested that children are withdrawn only at the end of an Academic Session. However, a parent may withdraw his/her ward in mid-session if the situation so warrants. In that case, fees for the full academic session has to be cleared at the time of taking the Transfer Certificate. (NO DUPLICATE TRANSFER CERTIFICATE SHALL BE ISSUED.)

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In modern Education, co-curricular activities play an important role. A particular feature of these activities is that the students from lower classes onwards learn under the supervision and guidance of the teachers to do things for themselves. Encourage your children to take part in these activities.

SPORTS PROGRAMME

The Athletic programmes invite the participation of all the students since we believe that keen competition on the playing fields tends to develop a corporate spirit, striving for excellence and other qualities of mind and heart and character most needed for future leaders. The sports programme, though a part of the cocurricular activities, deserve comment in itself. Athletics are encouraged at every level.

Intramural sports are highly emphasized. Each student during the first year in the school, is assigned to one of the four houses blue, green, red, yellow. When needed in the various activities, he/she is expected to respond to the call of the captain to represent the team in whatever activity or sport he/she is invited to.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

All of us, your home, your school, you yourself should share the responsibility.

Your Home : Those at home help you by paying the fees, giving you an atmosphere to study and sometimes forcing you to do the academic work.

Your School : Those at school help you to set your goals and challenges. Encourage you to ask questions and lead you to self-discovery. They help you to learn facts, to learn to understand and think, to acquire new skills and habits and to assess as well as adopt values and attitudes.

You Yourself : You are the most important partner of this group of three. Your education is the concern of the other two. You need to extend your co-operation to your people at home and your teachers at school so that you will be able to contribute significantly to the growth of the society.
